Anne Bonet
Anne Bonet currently serves as Vice Chair of the CELIS Institute's Board of Trustees (Verwaltungsbeirat). Previously, she was a Senior Advisor to the Institute.
She is a Belgian lawyer and senior advisor with over 25 years of experience in foreign direct investment screening, economic security, public and regulatory law at Liedekerke, after leading the Belgian Foreign Investments Division and contributing directly to the operational implementation of Belgium’s FDI screening framework. Her experience also includes senior legal leadership roles in the energy sector, with a particular focus on nuclear law, crisis-related regulation and public governance, as well as earlier work in intellectual property, commercial law and digital transformation. She is known for helping clients and institutions unblock complex matters, structure pragmatic solutions and manage regulatory and strategic risk in sensitive, high-stakes environments.
She holds a law degree from the Université Libre de Bruxelles and a Master’s degree in Intellectual property from the Katholieke Universiteit Brussel. She is fluent in French, Dutch and English.
