Julien Cazala

Julien Cazala is CELIS Country Reporter for France.

Julien Cazala is Professor of public law at the Faculty of Law of the University Sorbonne Paris Nord (France). He holds a Ph.D. in public international law from University Paris Panthéon-Assas.

He is the author of numerous writings in many areas of public international law. He has been a frequent Visiting Professor in many countries (Brazil, Cambodia, Greece, India, Mauritius, Romania and Turkey). He’s been a consultant for several United Nations agencies. He was seconded to the French Ministry of foreign Affairs (2011-2016). He is a member of the Board of directors of the Réseau francophone de droit international (RFDI).
