Niels Lachmann currently serves as Managing Editor Content & Country at CELIS Institute.
Niels is also a student research assistant at the Department of Law of the University of Southern Denmark, Odense and will complete his Master degree in Law in 2021.
His current interests are within EU law and public international law, namely space law, cyber security and data protection, and international investment law. Previously, as an intern researcher for the Embassy of Luxembourg in Copenhagen, he investigated the situation in the Arctic, including questions related to the law of the sea, and the legal and political aspects of the relationship between Denmark, Greenland and the European Union.
He holds a PhD in Political Science, specifically international politics, from Sciences Po Bordeaux, France, and majored in Modern and Contemporary History from Albert-Ludwigs-University, Freiburg im Breisgau, Germany.
