Christos Karetsos

Christos Karetsos is CELIS Assistant Country Reporter for the United Kingdom.

Christos Karetsos is a PhD Candidate at City, University of London. His research is funded through the City Law School Doctoral Studentship. Christos’s thesis is titled 'Navigating the Foreign Investment Control Landscape: FDI screening in the EU, US and the UK'. His thesis investigates the investment screening regimes in the respective jurisdictions, aiming to identify transnational trends.

Christos holds a Master of Laws (LL.M.) from the London School of Economics, with a specialization in Corporate and Commercial Law. He completed a Bachelor's Degree in Law (LL.B.) at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. Christos is an attorney-at-law and a member of the Athens Bar Association.
