Thijs De Cuyper

Thijs De Cuyper is a Ph.D. researcher and teaching assistant at the University of Leuven, Belgium. He graduated at the same university in 2019 with a specialization in European and international law. Afterwards, he pursued an LL.M. degree at the Humboldt University in Berlin. Thijs was a visiting researcher at the University of Cambridge from April until August 2023. His current research focuses on the division of competences between the European Union and its member states in the area of foreign economic policy, as well as a variety of topics related to the legal dimension of recent evolutions in geoeconomics.
