Raluca Coman

Rauca Coman is CELIS Assistant Country Reporter for Romania.

Raluca is a senior lawyer specialised in the banking and finance sector, having worked with leading domestic and international clients on a variety of complex finance transactions. Her extensive track record includes advising banks, international financial institutions, private equity sponsors and corporations in high-profile domestic and international finance transactions, including on emerging markets, and also advising on regulatory (banking) and corporate law aspects.

Raluca has a broad experience due to working with a top international law firm, both in Romania and in London. She also worked within the complex financing transactions department of a top commercial bank present in Romania and the legal division of an international financial institution very active in the European space, having the opportunity to be involved as well in corporate governance and policy matters.

Raluca is a practitioner recognised under dedicated international legal directories. She has academic qualification in Romanian law (following a university degree in law, from the Faculty of Law, Bucharest University, a Romanian top faculty) and professional experience in both civil and common law, in private and international law. Raluca is member of the Bucharest Bar.
