Dr. Floor Doppen

Dr. Floor Doppen is a researcher at the University of Antwerp and works as a senior programme associate for the CELIS Institute and as Editor-in-Chief for the CELIS Blog. She obtained her PhD in political science from the University of Antwerp and wrote her dissertation on the political economy of FDI Screening.

Floor publishes and comments regularly on issues related to investment screening, investment control and security. Her research sits on the intersection of security, economics, and her main focus is on the evolving state-firm relations in today’s geopolitical context. She has taught courses in international political economy, issues in international relations, theories in international relations and research design.
